MEA 25TH ANNIVERSARY Conference and AGM 24th and 25th September 2010

This year the Conference celebrates the founding of the MEA 25th years ago and it is being held, by kind permission of His Grace the Duke of Beaufort, at Badminton House renowned around the world for its annual horse trials. The Chairman and Committe hope that as many of you as possible will be able to come and enjoy this wonderful setting and an excellent programme. Many of the subjects will be looked at from a both medical and veterinary viewpoint with speakers from both professions giving comparisons and updates in Human and Equine injuries, Airway Disease, Cardiology, Anaesthetics, Lower Limb injuries, Wound Healing and Spinal Injuries. On the practical side there will be sessions outside on practical management of the combined Human and Equine Casulty led by Hampshire Fire and Rescue and their life size replica horse and afternoon of training in Prehospital Paedeatric Trauma.

A visit to the Tim and Jane Holderness-Roddam's West Kington Stud, Stallion Centre and Competition Yard has been arranged for Sunday morning, for those that are planning to make the most of a stay in the Cotswolds.
